The problem

Film production generates a lot of information, but it rarely stays connected.

Scene, shot, take, continuity, blocking, camera and sound are often tracked separately leaving post-production to piece everything together. Continuo explores a simple idea: what if every take carried its production record with it?

Goal

To create a connected production workflow where continuity, timecode and metadata are captured on set and carried seamlessly into post-production.

build

Designed and built a product experience focused on usability, clarity, and a simple user flow. The interface was designed in Figma and implemented using Claude Code, turning the design into a functional web experience.

What I learned

The slate can be more than a slate.

It can be the starting point for carrying production metadata into post.

Continuity is data.

Wardrobe, props, blocking and framing can be captured, referenced and carried forward.

Production tools should stay out of the way.

Capture more information while asking the crew to do less.

Conclusion

Continuo is an exploration of a more connected way to work on set where every scene, take, continuity detail and timecode has a place and stays useful beyond production.

From set to post, nothing gets lost.
